I just stumpled across these new tats from danish artist Uncle Allans Blog. He just keeps on getting better and better by every week, it seems. I wrote about Uncle Allan in this post. Check out the fresh ink after the jump…
Ryan Mason
August 17th, 2010 by Lars 2 comments »I’m not really sure exactly how to decribe Ryan Masons style. He uses a lot of traditional elements, but mix them up with more realistic images and once in a while throw some some absurd or humoristic elements in the mix (like glasses on a deer). Very interesting indeed. He works in Scapegoat Tattoo, Portland, Oregon (which I had to find on Google Maps, because I didn’t really know where is was, besides that it’s in the US of course). Check out a bunch of flix after the jump…
Chris O’Donnell Art Talk on Vice TV
August 11th, 2010 by Lars No comments »If you’re ever in the mood for some quick entertainment Vice TV is definitely a place to go. I just fell over this 15-minute episode of Art Talk featuring New York-based tattoo artist Chris O’Donnell. It’s cool to know, that I’m not the only one who always thinks, that my creative work could be so much better – Even great creative minds like O’Donnell has these issues. That’s nice to know, really. Hear him tell his story in the video after the jump…
Mike Giant + girls + black marker
August 10th, 2010 by Lars No comments »Mike Giant made these photos of latino chicks covered in black marker in the classic Mike Giant tattoo style. I think they’re very cool. If you don’t know about Mike Giant, I can tell you that he’s somewhat of a busy bee. He does graffiti murals, drawings, paintings, photography, tattoos and he’s part of the team behind a clothing brand as well. Be sure to check out his work reguarly since he’s always into something new. On another beautiful day, I’ll post some of his tattoos, but first I’ll let you enjoy these girls covered in style. As always you can see a bunch of phots after the jump…
Peter Lagergreen
July 27th, 2010 by Lars No comments »Peter is one of the guys working out of Old Bones Tattoo in Malmø, Sweden. He does really bold pieces with great linework.
I’ve posted a bunch of photos after the jump…
Stefan Johnsson
May 26th, 2010 by Lars No comments »Stefan Johansson is a Swedish tattooist living in sunny Santa Cruz, California. I’m really into his colour-schemes and overall feel of his tattoos. Very alive and vibrant with great details. Watch a collection of his goodness after the jump.
Beno, Westside Tattoo
April 14th, 2010 by Lars No comments »I just stumpled across another talented Australian tattooer for your viewing pleasure – Ben “Beno” Rorke from Westside Tattoo, Brisbane. Great lines and bright reds, greens and yellows. More photos after the jump…
David Bruehl
March 11th, 2010 by Lars No comments »Somewhere in Oklahoma, USA lies a city called Norman. I must admit I’ve never heard of the city, but nonetheless, this is the city where Mr. David Bruehl lets his needles buzz. I’m a sucker for bird-tattoos which might explain, why I got taken by his style, the moment I saw it. As always, you can see some photographs after the jump…
Lowbrow Tattooparlour, Berlin
March 1st, 2010 by Lars No comments »Somewhere in Friedrichshain, Berlin, two guys, Matthias Böttcher and Sebastian Domaschke, have set ud shop, doing neo-traditional work of high quality with bright colours and bold lines. For some reason, they don’t share their address on their Myspace page, so if you’d like some work done, you can write them, and if they’d like to do your piece, they’ll get back to you with an address. Check out their work after the jump…
